Forever Young in the Community

Giving back and supporting our local community

Forever Young continually involves itself in community activities within the Portland Metro region. The company has a distinct philanthropic motivation that underlies daily operations.  Specifically, Forever Young has worked closely with various Autism foundations throughout the area, including A Hope for Autism,Autism Resources of Beaverton, and Northwest Autism Foundation.

Ron, the owner of Forever Young, and his wife Jennifer have firsthand knowledge of Autism and its effects. Their son, Casey, was diagnosed with ASD at age 3. Since that time, their goal has always been to strive to do whatever it takes to help their boy succeed. There have had many struggles along the way; they were told Casey might not ever talk and that he would probably not want to be around people, preferring instead to “live in his own world.”

Notwithstanding this, Casey is living proof that if ASD children get the proper guidance, education and encouragement, they can overcome many obstacles. Despite his difficulties, Casey is in taekwondo and piano classes, he has a huge vocabulary, loves to be around people, and has a huge heart.

Forever Young regularly holds “Red Carpet Events” where all proceeds of the tickets purchased for those events are donated to a local charity. At these events, individuals can enjoy the majority of Forever Young’s services for a day with a $99 ticket—all of which is then given to a specific charity. In past events, Forever Young has raised over $5,000 in funds for local organizations.

When a “Red Carpet Event” is announced, please consider partaking in the day’s activities with the hope of contributing to a well-deserving cause.

The next event will be February 13th, 2011!

TESTIMONIAL:
"I wanted to drop you a small thank you note again for the laptops. What you did by giving Mitch and Madison the laptops really has changed their lives. I find it inspiring that you did this for both of them. I received Mitch and Madison's grades and am again really grateful to both of you.

Back in December I was only hoping to reduce the arguments in my home over computer time. In reality these laptops have also given Mitch and Madison something much more important. They both have improved their grades dramatically.

Neither of the children are in modified classrooms or receiving modified grades at all. The laptops have enabled them both to improve their grades by so much! Madison does have one lower grade but she is actively improving it.

I can't tell you how many times Madison has used the computer for her science and Pre-Algebra homework but it has been a lot. On a daily basis they both use them for class work and I am so proud of them.

In fact Madison had not received a single A until now. She has grown used to using the laptop for her homework and actually looks forward to it. The laptops have made doing homework and research easy and fun for both of them and I am excited to see them trying so hard.

We will always be grateful to you for your kindness and support. Your generosity is something that I wish I could reciprocate to someone else and is life changing for my children.

Thank you so much for providing this opportunity to them."
