CoolLipo™ is a FDA-approved innovative laser-based procedure that liquefies fat which is then easily removed. The entire procedure requires little more than a small incision and is thus an effective alternative to surgical face lifts and continued liposuction. The procedure is bloodless, allows skin to maintain firmness, is performed under local anesthesia, and leaves virtually no unsightly scars. A small incision is made in the treatment area in which a small cannula (wand-like apparatus containing the laser) is inserted. The laser then dissolves the fat, which is removed by a micro-cannula.
